Spirits breathe life into the vibrant landscapes of Agharttha, blessing it's peoples with the gift of magic. Empires rise, rulers meet their demise, but spirits remain, ever present in a shifting world.
The delicate balance between power and weakness, prosperity and suffering, life and death, and good and evil has been maintained for millennia past, but the cogs are turning in favour of a new equilibrium.
The world is changing. Where will you stand when balance is found again?

What Lies Within is an upcoming rp adventure, featuring an entire world of realms to explore and discover, with a loose, carefree environment to develop characters. There is no limit on characters, and very loose expectations for applications to foster a fun, experimental community where a range of ideas can be explored by players.

what we hope to achieve
Above all else, we're striving to create a fun and easygoing environment that fosters creativity. This world has it's laws and constants, but everything else is a mystery that can be discovered together; written as a collaboration. Players are welcome to create unlimited characters and explore any ideas with as much or as little depth as they desire. The cultures and structures of societies will be built from the ground up, as they are explored through the stories of individual characters.
The overarching plot exists in the background, to add in some stakes and drama, but aside from that, players are free to create their own plots within the world - even those that could be game-changing. Rather than pushing all the characters in the direction of the plot, the world will shift based on the plots of the characters within it.

To put it simply, we just want to have fun. The objective is collaboration: where the ideas of members become the canon, and the direction of the plot is chosen based on the community's desires. It is essentially a sandbox to throw in our silly little characters.
